URBAN RABBITS enjoys a very conservative, yet very successful breeding program that allows us to keep our numbers small while remaining competitive. Our breeding program is well thought out and pre-planned years in advance. We focus on specific shows and because of that, we may not have stock available year round. We do maintain a waiting list, but we do not increase our breeding cycles to fulfill the wait list. Our focus is entirely on quality, not quantity.

We have a very long list of BIS's, BOB's, BOV's and BOSV's we've won each year at the national shows, state conventions and local shows. Our Tans have been very consistent over the years. Check out our winnings on our Show Results pages featuring pictures and details of our placements at shows throughout the northwest.

Even with all the copyright notices posted all over our website, we've had a lot of problems with folks copying our content over the years. WHAT ARE COPYRIGHTS? This particular page is not copyrighted. Feel free to adopt our standards for your rabbits.

It is our sincere desire for you to feel you got a lot of bang for your buck when you buy a Tan from us. You could spend a lot more elsewhere and not get nearly the same fun factor for the money spent. If seriously getting the best bang for your buck isn't enough, maybe the rest of the package will do it for you.

We don't have any health disclaimers associated with the sales of our rabbits.
We don't do "if the rabbit dies after leaving our rabbitry" stuff. Your investment in our stock will be rewarded with healthy and sound rabbits. Period.
If you buy a show quality junior from us, it will make senior weight.
We will provide an accurate description of the rabbit and as many pictures of a rabbit as needed prior to your decision to buy. If you would like a Tan held for you, you must put down a non-refundable deposit of 25%. You must pick up your purchase within 30 days unless other arrangements have been agreed to prior to the sale.
We reserve the right to cancel a sale. If we initiate the cancellation, we will refund any monies paid in full.
We stand by the quality of our stock. For those of you placing orders prior to the Tan Nationals (if we are going) or the ARBA Convention, if the rabbit does not meet your expectations at the time of delivery, just say so and your deposit will be refunded in full prior to the beginning of judging.
Regardless of where the rabbit places at the show it was shown at, the sale will be honored.
If by chance we sold you the one that wins BOB, it's still yours.
Please don't ask us to sell you a guaranteed winner. Our Tans have enjoyed very consistent results over the years. There are many variables that go into how rabbits place, why they place and why they don't. We don't sell what we wouldn't show ourselves.
Please note: Tans delivered to a show will not be shown in your name at that show.
You are welcome to use our Tans in your 4H project but we do not discount for that use.
We do not sell "stud" services.
We do not sell bred does.

When you purchase a rabbit from us, you consent to the following conditions:

We ask you do not try to circumvent these conditions or requirements. We are honest and straightforward breeders. Please do not have someone else purchase the rabbit for you in order to avoid complying to our requirements. It's been done and yes, we found out. We treat our buyers with respect and expect the same in return. If you can't return the courtesy, please look for stock from another source.
